About Founder
Architect Sameer Amarin earned his degree in architecture from the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq in 1988. In 1997, he founded SAAEC in Amman, Jordan.Sameer was elected to be part of the Architectural Committee department in the Jordanian Engineering Association in the 2018 and 2022 elections. Throughout his career, Sameer has been well-known for his creativity in design. He produces spaces that are diverse and harmonious, always exploring new challenges and finding innovative solutions in architecture, interior design, landscape, rehabilitation, and renovation.Sameer has worked on many projects in Jordan, one of his major projects was the Jubeiha Parish - St. Paul the Apostle Church, which was shortlisted in a worldwide competition “World Architecture Festival” in Lisbon, Portugal. Aside from his professional work, Sameer has extensive experience in academia.He has taught design studios at various Jordanian universities, including Petra University, Al al-Bayt, and Jordan University.
